Hello, my name is Jim Patrick

I would like to start off by sharing a bit about my background so you will have a better understanding of how I acquired such a diverse pool of relevant knowledge to this process.

I had the great fortune to be born into a third generation home and building center in a small Midwestern town. Both my grandparents and parents had devoted their lives to helping people take care of their homes needs. So I guess I came by that desire naturally. Growing up in the home center environment I was directly involved the areas of plumbing and electrical installations as well as HVAC installations by the time I was eleven years old. Now this was in the seventies when you had no choice but go to the local lumber yard for help with any problem that arose in taking care of or even building your home. As a result I designed my first building, a three level six unit apartment building during my sophomore year of high school and we built that building the next summer.

Now let’s fast forward to the late nineties, we made a tough decision to close the family business that had been in existence for over five decades but this would turn out to be the springboard for everything to come in my future. I immediately went to work for a larger building center where I started training in my spare time on a powerful residential design software program, a program that I still use to this day.

I am still actively involved every day with both aspects, the designing of individual custom projects and the sales and servicing of every category of product used in the construction of those projects.

So you see, this is why I feel uniquely qualified and very eager to help you find answers to your every question regarding the processes involved in designing and building your new home or remodel project. I feel that I am in a very elite group of people who can share such a broad and vast pool of knowledge.
