ePlans Ranch Style Homes
ePlans Ranch Style Homes represent the most popular series of home styles I design today. My photo example is one of a larger more modern example.
Classified within the Modern family, the asymmetrical Ranch house plan is generally built with a low-pitched gable roof, deep set eaves, and a large attached garage.
Ranches are typically built with one story; however, split level designs are also common. The exterior of the house -- composed of natural wood, bricks, and large picture windows -- gives the home a traditional and no-nonsense feel.
The ePlans pages are simple and easy to navigate. Much the same as how I begin a custom design you have a simple click screen to select important features like home style, number of bedrooms and baths, number of floors, will you have a garage or basement. So you can see that you will not have to sift through thousands of plans. ePlans also lets you flag multiple plans to help narrow down the perfect one. ePlans even lets you watch a short feature video about each plan you are interested in.

Did you know that with each ePlans set you will get a recommended set of specifications to help with details of both bidding and building your new home, and how about the ability to cost estimate your new home before you buy the plans.
You can even shop plans by special features like kitchen styles, fireplaces or elevator access. It just boils down to the most complete easy to sort through home plan service available anywhere.
Remember this too, you are spending a great deal of money here and you ultimately reserve the right to pick any home design you love so long as it fits your budget and local building requirements, so why settle for having to choose between a dozen of two designs when you have over 28, 000 plans available. After all don’t you think it is worth spending a few hundred dollars to get your dream home done right.
As a last note if you do not find the perfect plan you always have the option of getting a no obligation estimate to have ePlans modify any plan to your exact requirements. We use to perform this service a lot when I worked for the custom plan design firm.
Ranch style homes have few decorative elements, save for the shutters or porch-roof supports.
The classic L-shaped rambling Ranch floor plan combines the living and dining areas into one, with a hallway that leads to the family room and bedrooms on the other side of the home.

Ranch designs can also be found in be rectangular or U-shaped styles. Another common feature of the relaxed, informal Ranch house plan: a sliding door in the back that leads to a patio.
Your Ranch House Plans search begins right here. I think you will love all the design options available to you in this design style.
